The ribbed surface is perfect for searing meats like steaks, burgers, chicken and fish fillets, giving them a delicious crust and appealing grill lines. Add some capsicum, zucchini and onions for extra flavour and visual appeal.
The smooth surface is best for pancakes, omelets, grilled cheese sandwiches and bacon strips.
Lightly oil the surface before use to prevent sticking and to enhance the flavour of the food.
After use, clean the surface you used. The smooth surface can be easier to clean of sticky residues, while the ribbed surface might require more attention to ensure that food particles don’t remain in the grooves.
Apply a thin layer of cooking oil after use and store in a dry place.

Very happy with this cast iron griddle plate. Shipped same day and arrived very quickly. I mainly use the smooth side, but you can also flip it and use the ribbed side. Heats up evenly and cooks beautifully.
